Incidentally, I happened to open my Bible in a wisdom passage in Proverbs yesterday and I thought, 'Is this talking about Jesus?'. Then, after a closer look, I realised the passage was about wisdom. It's an interesting parallel as Jesus, like wisdom, is spoken about in Scripture as existing before the foundation of the world (which also links to 1 John and the logos you mentioned).
